"As most of freshmen at UF, I lived in the dorms during the first year. But for sophomore year, they were full and I ended up in a regular apartment complex, far from campus, stucked in a 12 month lease. This Fall I moved into CLO... I have met a lot of friends, I am only a few seconds walking from classrooms, no more cooking, no more grocery duties...on top of this, I only pay for 8 months ! CLO is just the most convenient housing to balance social life and studies."

CLO began its life at UF as the Cooperative Living Organization in 1931 with four student members. It is now known as the Collegiate Living Organization, a student-run, dormitory-style housing facility with a capacity of 80 members.
